City of Hoboken Invites Community to 5th Annual Irish Festival

Hoboken, NJ - Wednesday, April 6th, 2016


The City of Hoboken and Irish Network New Jersey invite all residents and visitors to the 5th Annual Hoboken Irish Cultural Festival on Saturday, May 21st from noon to 6pm at Sinatra Park, located on the Hoboken waterfront near 4th  Street. The event is free and features Irish music, dance, sports, food, beer, vendors, crafts, and other activities for all ages.

The festival will feature musical performances by Gold n’ Brown, A Band of Rogues, Colin Nisbet, and Clan Suibhne. There will be dance performances by the Garden Street Irish Step Dancers and Emerald Fire, Aherne Sheehan School of Irish Dance, and Kerri Smith Academy of Irish Dance

Participants interested in competing in the Irish soda bread competition should contact Geri Fallo at or 201-420-2207.

The event will feature a beer garden sponsored by Finnegans Pub as well as vendors selling Irish food, crafts, clothing, and more. The Hoboken Hurling Club will provide demos and a youth clinic. Also for children, there will be face painting, pony rides, a petting zoo, moonwalk, inflatable obstacle course, balloon artist, and more.
