The City of Hoboken Responds to Court’s Rent Control Decision


The City has now had an opportunity to review Judge Tolentino’s decision in the 206 Bloomfield matter.� Contrary to what some have claimed, the Court has firmly rejected a demand to enjoin the City’s rent regulation office from making future rent calculations and did not find the Ordinance itself illegal, unconstitutional or improper in any way.�

Hoboken Addresses Sinatra Park Collapse

The City of Hoboken is taking emergency measures in its continuing efforts to secure and stop any further erosion of a portion of Sinatra Park which collapsed into the Hudson River on Monday, announced Mayor Dawn Zimmer.

The Hoboken and Jersey City Waterfront walkway opens


Mayor Dawn Zimmer along with local officials and residents of Hoboken and Jersey City walked across the newly-opened waterfront walkway between the two cities earlier this week.� It has officially opened and will be available 24/7 to residents.� The path connects with the Hoboken Terminal and the Newport development in Jersey City.
